Née de la volonté de partager notre passion pour l’Inde et pour la danse, l’association BOLLY DEEWANI a pour but de promouvoir la culture indienne à travers l’expression corporelle et artistique.

BOLLY DEEWANI est un lieu de partage très diversifié avec des activités sportives ludiques (danse Bollywood, danse Kathak, Fitness Bollywood), des activités culturelles (cours de langue hindi) et des ateliers de créations (cuisine, bijoux, henné…).

Imaginé comme un espace de rencontre possible entre les gens, BOLLY DEEWANI propose aussi des pique-niques Bollywood, des spectacles, des stages de danse en Inde et à Londres avec des chorégraphes locaux.

Le nom «BOLLY DEEWANI» est né de la réunion du diminutif «Bolly» qui vient de Bollywood et du mot «Deewani» qui veut dire «folle» en hindi, dans le sens « folie douce ».

Born from our will to share our passion for India and for dancing, the BOLLY DEEWANI association aims to promote Indian culture through corporal and artistic expression.

BOLLY DEEWANI offers various sharing occasions through fun and tonic activities (Bollywood dancing, Kathak dancing, Fitness Bollywood), cultural activities (Hindi lessons) and creative workshops (cooking, jewelry, henna…).

Designed as a way to gather people together, the BOLLY DEEWANI association also organizes Bollywood picnics, shows, dance courses in India and in London with local choreographers.

The name «BOLLY DEEWANI» is made from the nickname «Bolly» for «Bollywood» and the Hindi word «Deewani» which means « sweet madness ».

Of course, we are CRAZY for BOLLYWOOD!
